In 2016, the Department of Civil Servant Development, Taipei City Government, received a gold medal as part of the Excellence Awards in Technology Program organized by the US Brandon Hall Group.
In September 2016, the Department of Civil Servant Development submitted “Application of e-Learning Technology for Civil Servant Training” to the Brandon Hall Group’s Excellence Awards in Technology Program, for which it received a gold medal in Best Advance in Learning Management Technology for Compliance Training. This award and the high level of international acclaim it brings showcase the success Taipei City Government has had in using information technology to promote smart learning. On May 16, 2017, the 1,937th municipal government meeting presented Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je with a gold medal trophy.
