1.Survey period: November 19, 2017 to November 25, 2017.
2.Survey subjects: Citizens aged 15 and above who engage in economic activities, excluding those in the military services or in prison.
3.Survey objective: To obtain an estimate of the populations and gain an understanding of the demographics which include: economically active population, employment/unemployment rates, industries, occupations, and the proportion of non-labor force among the survey subjects in Taiwan (excluding Kinmen and Mazu). This information will be used as an important reference for formulating economic and social development plans and manpower policies.
The planning and design of this survey is conducted by the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics of the Executive Yuan. The co-organizers are the municipalities and county governments in charge of conducting the surveys in their respective administrative areas. Personal information gathered in this survey is strictly confidential and will not be used for purposes other than the overall statistical analysis.
