Are you making plans to celebrate Chinese Valentine's Day in a romantic and creative manner? Are you sick and tired of the dinners and presents? This year, Taipei City Government will offer you a different way of commemorating the special day in a different way – with outdoor music concerts!
With the approach of the annual Chinese Valentine's Day (called "Qixi" in Chinese), Taipei Symphony Orchestra will be staging a citywide musical concert to celebrate this joyous occasion on Wednesday night, August 26.
The citywide concert will take place at 12 locations across the city – one venue at each of Taipei's administrative districts. The concert venues range from historical sites (such as the Ximen Red House) to the newer landmarks of the city (one of the concerts will take place at the Neihu Technology Park).
So bring your loved one to the free concert and enjoy a special night outdoors to celebrate Chinese Valentine's Day!
