After implementation of a plan to increase pedestrian comfort and convenience, many sidewalks were closed to motorcycle parking, as indicated by no-parking signs. To protect the parking rights of motorcyclists, however, motorcycle parking spaces are arranged in lanes and along the roadside depending on available space and location of lanes or alleys. Motorcycle parking spaces also remain on sidewalks deemed broad enough. Motorcyclists are advised to make use of off-street parking lots more frequently.
