To increase the driving speed, there should be no roadside parking spaces.
A road is constructed mainly for transportation of people and vehicles, while roadside parking space is planned to compensate for inadequate space in off-street parking lots. We review parking demands and traffic around a road section according to parking-related regulations and establish new parking lots or encourage the private sector to them. We also plan to build more underground parking lots at schools and parks according to the principle of multipurpose use. After sufficient off-street parking lots are built, roadside parking spaces will be reviewed and withdrawn to restore the original function of the road.
