Time-limited parking spaces are set aside to meet the need for short-time parking. For the guidance of drivers, "Time Limited" and the parking lot number are marked on the ground of the time-limited parking space, and a signpost and parking meter are installed by the side thereof. Currently, the Easy Card parking meter is used for all time-limited parking spaces in Taipei City and fee collection personnel will issue a one-hour parking fee payment notice to those who do not pay by Easy Card or who park their car overtime. If the driver parks the car over the time specified on the payment notice (one hour after issuance), the traffic assistant will issue a ticket for overtime parking.
