How should I make a payment if I receive a SMS message on my cell phone from the PMO about an unpaid parking ticket or informed by the interactive voice response system? Is there a payment due date?
Answer: 1. If you still have your parking ticket with you: 1.1 If it is before the payment due date (from the second day you receive the ticket to the eighth day. If the eighth day is on a weekend or national holiday, it is extended to the first business day after the eighth day), please have your ticket with you and pay at the four major convenient store chains (7-ELEVEN, Hi-Life, Taiwan FamilyMart, or OK Mart), financial institutions (Mega International Commercial Bank, Ta Chong Bank, Keelung First Credit Cooperative and other cooperatives) or collection points such as CPC gas stations in Taipei City or New Taipei City. 2. If you do not have your parking ticket: 2.1 Search and print your parking ticket on a multimedia kiosk in the four major convenient store chains (7-ELEVEN, Hi-Life, Taiwan FamilyMart, or OK Mart) and pay directly at their counter in the payment period. (From the third day after you receive a parking ticket until the end of the grace period, or seven days after the due date.) Additionally, payment reminder notices such as parking ticket payment reminders or parking ticket payment collection notices can also be searched or printed on the multimedia kiosk and paid at the counter of a convenient store. (Please note that the multimedia kiosk is only available to print or search unpaid tickets before their due date.) 3. For those who fail to complete their payments before the end of the grace period, starting the 8th day past due, the PMO will mail a parking ticket payment reminder (registered mail with A.R.) and charge a handling fee of NTD50. For those who fail to complete their payments before the due date specified on the payment reminder, a NTD300 penalty will be inflicted according #2, Article 56, Act Governing the Punishment of Violation of Road traffic Regulations to collect the ticket payment.
1.2 If it is after the due day but within the seven-day grace period, please have your ticket with you and pay at the collection points listed in 1.1.
