My stolen car has been found, and I want to renew the license plate registration. Why am I required to undergo another mandatory inspection?
According to the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, found stolen vehicles must be inspected before they can be used again. Therefore, when a stolen car is found, the owner should bring the vehicle registration, the new license plate registration, the motor insurance certificate valid for at least 30 days, and the found stolen vehicle certificate issued by the police, to apply for a new inspection by the motor vehicle authorities. The vehicle must pass the inspection before the owner can apply to use the found vehicle or change its registration.
