Can I reserve materials that are listed as "new arrivals"?
New arrivals are also available for online reserve. However, to ensure the rights of persons visiting the Library to borrow new arrivals, they are placed on Library shelves for 7 days. If they are not lent out during this period, they will be made available for online reserve and sent to the branch from which they are to be picked up. This procedure is designed to prevent popular new arrivals from being reserved before they reach the Library's shelves, thereby making sure persons visiting the Library have access to new arrivals.
