YDO Commemorates International Day of the Girl Child with Photography Lessons

Poster for the mobile phone photography class at YDOGirls, do you have a problem with taking selfies which produced less-than-satisfactory results? Or hearing people criticizing your photo style as being too old school? This year, to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child, you will have an opportunity to learn how to make those selfies better!
The Youth Development Office (YDO) will hold a class on selfie photography between 10 PM and 4 PM on Sunday, October 11. The course will teach young aspiring students the nuts and bolts of selfie photography, allowing them to present their best images through the mobile phone lens.
The organizers have invited internet celebrity Wu Shui-shui to share her knowhow with students. Wu is an expert in mobile phone photography and multimedia marketing. Her videos on selfie photography have attracted over 3 million views.
Participants will learn the basics of mobile phone photography and techniques, as well as fundamental concepts on photography elements such as composition, lighting, perspective angles, and background blurs. Through the class, they will find ways to improve their photography and expand their repertoire of effective selfie poses.
The selfie photography class is free of charge. Registration begins at 9 AM on Tuesday, September 15.
