Beimen Vaccination Station to Replace Taipei Qsquare Vaccination Site
For residents who have accessed the 1922 Vaccine Reservation Platform recently, they will notice a new option for downtown Taipei: MRT Beimen Station Mid-size Vaccination Station. The new site will be operational starting February 21.
Located at the southern corner on B1 floor of MRT Beimen Station, the new vaccination site will offer BNT vaccines (79,540 shots) on February 21 and 22; Medigen vaccine (13,994 shots) on February 23, and Moderna vaccine (203,238 shots) on February 24 and 25.
According to the Department of Health, a total of 296,772 booster shot openings will be up for grabs for the 23rd session via the vaccine reservation platform. Reservations are accepted from 10 AM on February 16 through noon on February 18 for shots to be administered between February 21 and 27. Eligible individuals (18 years or older who have received 2 shots and 12 weeks have passed since their previous shot) are encouraged to book their shots before the deadline.
Meanwhile, the vaccination site at Taipei Qsquare will be closing its doors after delivering all shots on February 18. Since its establishment on January 20, the Qsquare site has vaccinated a total of 3,295 individuals (as of February 15).
The city government reminds people who plan to get their shot to bring both their vaccination record card (“Yellow” card) and NHI card, as well as arriving at the site at the appointed time. Those who have yet to receive either their first or second dose should book their shots with hospitals or clinics offering COVID-19 vaccination service. Those who received their shots before February 28 are eligible for a voucher worth NT$200.
