2015 Public transportation service during Yangmingshan blossom and calla lily season
The Taipei Public Transportation Office worked in coordination with Metropolitan Transport Corporation and Danan Bus to provide bus transportation service for visitors to Yangmingshan during Yangmingshan blossom and calla lily season. The bus routes during this period include Bus 127 from central city to Yangmingshan (MRT Jiantan Station – Yangmingshan 2nd car park), and Bus 124, which goes around Yangmingshan (Xiaoyoukeng – Yangmingshan 2nd car park – Yangmingshan bus terminal), Bus 125 (flower clock – Yangmingshan bus terminal), Bus 130 (Yangmingshan 2nd car park – Yangming bookstore), and Bus 131 (Yangmingshan 2nd car park – Zhuzi Lake). Recreational buses 128 and 129 also stop at Zhuzi Lake so as to provide visitors more options of transportation service. Fare is charged once only except Buses 128 and 129, which charge double. Buses 127, 128 and 129 are operated only on holidays while the remaining buses are operated every day. Please see the attachment for detailed bus schedule and information.
Blossom season bus 124 is a new bus route this year. By taking this bus, people can go to Zhuzi Lake and Xiaoyoukeng as well as Qixingshan. People can get on this bus at Yangmingshan bus terminal and 2nd car park. Traveling with buses can help you avoid busy traffic and the trouble in looking for a car parking lot.
According to the Taipei Public Transportation Office, the final bus of Buses 124, 125, 127, 128, 129, 130 and 131 set out 1 hour earlier than the scheduled time i.e. 5pm during Chinese New Year holidays (Feb 19 – Feb 23). On the Chinese New Year Eve (Feb 18), it set out at 3pm. The bus interval was also extended so please refer to the attachment for details. However, depending on the weather and the crowd of people, the bus interval would be temporarily shortened. Thus, people please pay attention to the up to date bus information. People with physical disability could choose Bus 260 from Taipei Railway Station to Yangmingshan (including in zone line and flower clock line). These lines are run by low-floor buses (2 seats for people in special need). Two large low-floor buses stop at flower clock (6 seats for people in special need). People from MRT Jiantan Station to Yangmingshan bus terminal could choose Bus Red 5, which is also run by low-floor buses. Special minibus service is also provided from flower clock to Erziping (stop by Yangming bookstore). Taxi service for people in special need is also provided by making a booking on the phone at 412-8333 (5510 if dialed from mobile phones) to Taipei Star Taxi.
