MRT-KUO-KUANG Bus Co-branded Tickets Launches on June 1

* Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) and KUO-KUANG Motor Transport have collaborated for the first time to launch co-branded tickets at Taoyuan International Airport on June 1.

Tickets available include the 48/72 hr Taipei Metro Pass (choose one) plus KUO-KUANG Bus Route 1819 (Taipei Main Station - Taoyuan International Airport) round trip tickets. With up to 12% discount, the co-branded ticket offers passengers traveling from Taoyuan International Airport to Taipei on the bus the perfect solution to seeing Greater Taipei using public transport.

TRTC and KUO-KUANG Motor Transport has collaborated to launch the 48 hr/72 hr Taipei Metro Pass plus KUO-KUANG Motor Transport Route 1819 (Taipei Main Station - Taoyuan International Airport) round trip tickets at the KUO-KUANG Motor Transport service counter at both Terminal One and Two of Taoyuan International Airport starting June 1. The discounted ticket price of the 48 hr Taipei Metro Pass plus KUO-KUANG Motor Transport Route 1819 round trip ticket is NT$500 (original price: NT$560, approximately 11% discount); the discounted ticket price of the 72 hr Taipei Metro Pass plus KUO-KUANG Motor Transport Route 1819 round trip ticket is NT$580 (original price: NT$660, approximately 12% discount).

For instance, after arriving in Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport and reaching Taipei Main Station via KUO-KUANG Motor Transport, they may take advantage of the 48 hr/72 hr Pass to ride the MRT and travel to all corners of Greater Taipei within the ticket’s duration – all for the price of less than NT$600! Tourists can head to the famous Longshan Temple, take a stroll on Tamsui Old Street, or admire the splendid night scenery at Taipei 101; you can even visit major shopping districts to enjoy gourmet food before boarding the KUO-KUANG Motor Transport to reach Taoyuan International Airport and concluding your exciting journey in Taipei.

For 48 hr/72 hr Taipei Metro Pass, you may choose the dates in accordance with your traveling needs and itinerary. The pass will be valid for either 48 hours or 72 hours after it has been activated at the ticket barrier; during the duration of the respective ticket types, pass holders may ride the MRT an unlimited number of times and distance. One ticket may only be used by one passenger at a time.
