The Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government, is taking proactive measures to raise the "Daycare Services in Middle School Districts" project's completion rate in 2023, aiming to surpass the rate at the end of 2022

Taipei City's Department of Social Welfare has successfully promoted long-term care services. By the end of 2023, a total of 68 daycare institutions in 9 middle school districts had been established, with an operating rate of 80.5%. Moreover, 9 additional middle school districts are making plans to establish these services. To address the transportation demands of school districts that have not yet established such services or have fewer participating institutions, the Department of Social Welfare has provided long-term care transportation subsidies. In addition, in order to encourage businesses to participate, the "Subsidy for the Establishment of Community-based Long-term Care Institutions Plan" was formulated, raising the subsidy standards for school districts that have not yet established such services. The Department of Social Welfare continues to work hard to expand and improve long-term care services, ensuring that citizens receive high-quality support and promoting the establishment of daycare services in school districts to meet the needs of local citizens.
