Joining Travel Fairs in MRT Stations
Have you ever let your mind wander off to exotic overseas destinations while at work or in class? Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) not only offers convenient transport, but it is also a great place to obtain travel information.
Of 74 advertising spaces in MRT Zhongshang Station, more than half are travel-related advertisements. Besides MRT Zhongshan Station, stops such as MRT Nanjing Fuxing Station, MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, and MRT Songshan Airport Station also feature alternate travel exhibitions in the form of traditional light boxes, wallpapers, and posters on the train. Simply head to the stations to experience your exclusive dream gallery, where you can plan your overseas trip effortlessly and embark on your dream journey from MRT Zhongshan Station.
MRT Zhongshan Station is the transfer station between the Songshan-Xindian Line and Tamsui-Xinyi Line. Outside the station, the shopping district between the MRT linear park and Zhongshan Metro Mall attracts countless domestic and international tourists, driving up the ridership figures every year, which increased from 14.1 million trips in 2016 to nearly 15 million trips in 2018. The shopping district is bristling with a mixture of chic and traditional stores, embodying a fusion of diverse delicacies, art, and cultural creatives. In here, large corporations and small businesses work together to foster the prosperity of the community. In addition, the Jazz Square at Exit R10 on the B1F of Zhongshan Metro Mall is a popular place for youths and nearby residents to practice street dance and enjoy a leisurely time. At the weekends, live musical and vocal performances are staged to provide everyone with a fantastic afternoon.
