The Department of Rapid Transit Systems commissioned Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) to implement slope rehabilitation measures along the Tamsui Line, between MRT Tamsui Station and MRT Hongshulin Station.
Portions of the construction will require the use of the outer lane in the eastbound direction along section 1 of Zhongzheng East Road (between Lane 77, Danjin Road and Lane 111, Section 1, Zhongzheng East Road).
During these periods, drivers, pedestrians, and residents living in neighboring communities traveling eastbound on Zhongzheng E. Road should pay special heed regarding possible closure of the outer lane in the eastbound direction. Vehicles traveling through this area at night should slow down and exercise caution.
Construction work will not affect MRT operations.
To minimize impact on surrounding traffic, construction work will not take place during rush hours and holidays. Night time warning lights and reflective warning signs will be placed every 2 meters along the construction area to ensure traffic safety.
