For Taiwanese baseball fans, 2023 promises to be a great year with the Fifth Edition World Baseball Classics preliminaries taking place in Taichung City. 

To root for the local team and bring the games closer to the public, Taipei City Government is joining hands with CTBC Bank to organize live outdoor broadcast of matches featuring the Chinese Taipei team at the CTBC Financial Park.

Mayor Chiang Wan-an invited baseball fans to come to Nangang and cheer for the players of Taiwan’s baseball team together in front of the big screen. Hopefully, the home team will make it to the finals in Japan with the local fans cheering them on. 

The live broadcasts will be shown on a 300-inch LED screen. Thanks to the gargantuan display and a large venue able to house cheering spectators, participants will no doubt enjoy a different on-site experience as they watch the game together. 

Furthermore, the Department of Sports also arranged a number of activity booths at the venue, including a batting and pitching game stall, cheer facial paint service, and more. The team members of Taipei Highwealth Baseball Team will also appear at the venue and interact with visitors.

There will also be a raffle offering great prizes such as PS5 and iPhone Watch.
