Taipei city urban regeneration office will hold an exhibition called Heart Farm Life from 1/17 to 3/15 2015 at Tianmu, welcome everyone to join this meaningful exhibition.
There will be 7 main themes, City Farm, Mobile Art, Heart Kitchen, Local Culture, Campus Interaction, Heart Farm Lecture and Community Performance. Welcome every citizen to join our activity. The opening hour of our exhibition is from 9 AM to 6 PM every Wednesday to Sunday, holiday extend to 8 PM,
The White House in Tianmu was formerly used as the residence of U.S. military advisors based in Taiwan. During the Korean War in the 1950s, the U.S. sent the Seventh Fleet to the Taiwan Strait to defend Taiwan against attack from mainland China. Many Japanese-style homes were built in Taipei's Tianmu area to house U.S. military advisors based in Taiwan at that time. Designated as a city historic site, the White House is one of the few houses in Tianmu remaining from that era. Our activity will cooperate with URS, The area will be open toall citizens to know about the history and take a look about how Taipei City protect and maintain the historical sites.
