The 2022 Taipei Anytime MRT ticket package campaign has received positive feedbacks from users since the implementation of the program. To encourage more people to take advantage of the campaign, the city government will offer additional summertime perks for those purchasing special MRT tickets!
Between July 1 and August 31, customers who visit the info booth at MRT stations and purchase either a One-day Pass, Taipei Metro Travel Pass (24, 48, or 72 hours), or Joint Ticket (MRT/Double Decker Bus version or MRT/Airport MRT version) will receive both the Taipei Anytime coupons and the bonus Taipei Anytime Shida Longquan Shopping District coupons!
Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation’s latest collaboration with Shida Longquan Shopping District resulted in the summertime coupon collection with deals at famous stores and restaurants in the area. Well-known foodie destinations such as Lantern Soy Sauce Braised Food and Albuca Dessert offer gift with purchases. Other merchants, such as Shiyun Fried Chicken and Brass Joy Pot, provide complimentary drink or additional topping with minimum order, while Arnor Crepes touts buy-one-get-one-free for selected products.
The convenience of the MRT fits well with the deals available through the 2022 Taipei Anytime campaign. The coupons include discounts for museum visits, rides at Taipei Children’ Amusement Park, tea-shopping at Maokong stores, co-branded Taipei Metro coffee beans, and more!
For those who want to explore Taipei by taking the MRT, the Taipei Metro Travel Pass comes in denominations spanning 24-hour (NT$180), 48-hour (NT$280), and 72-hour (NT$380). The clock starts ticking when you first use the pass to enter a station, allowing you to make infinite ride on the MRT within the given time period. On the other hand, the One-day Pass allows you to take infinite number of rides on the MRT on the day you use it.
