Taipei Pictorial January Issue Presents “New Year’s Resolutions”

Have you made your New Year’s resolution? Published by Taipei City Government Department of Information and Tourism (TPEDOIT), the January issue of Taipei Pictorial spotlights the subject of “New Year’s Resolutions”.

New Year resolution may seem hard to achieve, but it actually takes determination and a few baby steps to keep at it. Soon enough, you’ll notice that the goal is closer than you think. This issue of Taipei Pictorial presents tips from specialists in achieving New Year’s resolutions regarding fitness and diet, weddings, and food.

Taipei is a city with historical sites and modern skyscrapers. The city preserves memories from the old times, as well as emphasizing the cultural creativities. In the “Taipei Life” section, Taipei Pictorial presents “2014 New Life in Old Houses” awarded submissions to highlight appreciations for old houses. In “Taipei in Movies” section, members of the younger generations will learn about the transformation of Taipei through movies, while readers from the older generations will experience nostalgic memories from the past.

In “Fun in Taipei” section, the magazine presents a one-day-long activity in the military camp and introduces military outfits for the military enthusiasts. In “Celebrities’ Whisper” section, an interview with 2 TV program hosts show how they preached about healthy diet through TV programs, books, and seminars.
