Following the completion of the first phase of constructions spanning 3 years, the facility underwent trial operations in February of 2020. The building – comprising two floors underground and six floors above ground – welcomed the 1,059 vendors which operated stalls in the old market. The new market includes parking space for cars and motorcycles, refrigeration area, dried goods, grocery items, fresh produce, and cooked food areas.

According to the Market Administration Office (MAO), the new building houses a parking lot which takes up fourth to sixth floor. A total of 740 parking squares is available on these floors. The first floor includes stalls offering vegetables and fruits, as well as clams and cold side dishes. The second floor contains stalls selling meat and fish products, as well as cooked food and groceries.
