In order to protect the public's interest, the owner of the house (or car) which caught fire, may apply to the Fire Investigation Division of the Fire Department for the fire investigation information (information includes the household of fire origin, place of fire origin, the cause of fire, etc.). The owner may apply after the Fire Department submits an Investigation and Determination Report to the district police station, which is about 1 month after the occurrence of fire. To apply, send by post or in person the relevant application letter and the applicant's copy of ID and vehicle license to the Fire Investigation Division of the Fire Department (9th Floor, No.376, Section 2, Chenggong Road, Neihu District, Taipei City).
