Why are midnights in the flood season selected to be the time for test runs of the Nanshen Floodgate?
Nanshen Floodgate is located between Sections 1 and 2 of Yanjiu Road, where is a traffic artery from downtown to Jiuzhuang, Nangang District. In order to minimize the impact of the Floodgate opening/closing test on heavy traffic flows, we chose to exercise the test runs at midnight when there is less traffic.
