How many stormwater pumping stations are there in Taipei City?
There are 67 permanent stormwater pumping stations in Taipei City. In addition, to resolve the inundation problem in undeveloped areas, such as Guandu and Shezidao, there are 21 temporary stormwater pumping stations. Altogether, there are 88 stormwater pumping stations in the city with 423 pumping units and a total pumping capacity at 2,226 m3/sec, equivalent to the volume of one standard swimming pool.
