Is there a charge for dredging a public sewerage pipeline? Is an advance application required? How many days in advance?

  1. Dredging of a public pipeline is free of charge. The user is responsible for the maintenance of jams in the private pipeline (such as by entrusting a plumber, etc.).
  2. Service for dredging the pipeline is dispatched on immediate basis after receiving the call. In the event of finding a clogged public pipeline, citizens may call 2596-8603 or Fax 2596-8672, or dial Citizen Hot Line 1999 (for out of Taipei City, please call: 02-27208889) to notify SSO for a joint check out and processing.
