Recycled water produced by the Dihua Sewage Treatment Plant came from domestic household sewage of Taipei citizens, which was treated by a preliminary clarifier, deep aerated bio-treatment, secondary clarifier, disinfection, etc. to reach the national standard of effluent; the effluent further went through a sand filter before being reused.
