My wife is an immigrant woman who has been living in Taiwan over half a year. Currently, she has missed her period and she also has the symptom of nausea and vomiting. Is she pregnant?

When immigrant women come to live in Taiwan for the first time, some of them are not accustomed to their new living environment. This can lead to certain symptoms including nausea, vomiting, missed periods, diarrhea and other symptoms. Stress, illness, changes in diet and other factors can cause these symptoms as well as pregnancy. The only way to confirm pregnancy is by having a pregnancy test and then getting confirmation by your doctor.
