The hot spring season is here once again!
Spotlighting “Onsen Water Spray Tradition,” the fest will feature six main themes, including an outdoor fair, stage performances, charity activities, yukata kimono dressing up, and an onsen spray parade.
On October 21 and 22, adorable mascots and ambassadors from hot spring areas in Japan and other regions of the Asia-Pacific will join kids carrying children’s palanquins at the <i>mikoshi</i> parade to inject a dash of vigorously festivity into the neighborhood.
Other highlights of the Taipei Hot Spring Season include nakasi singing competition, yukata design contest, Ming Hwa Yuan Taiwanese opera performances, open air cinema, Ibusuki’s Hula dance, Matsuyama’s enka performances, and shows featuring music bands from Kyoto.

Diverse Stalls and Booths:
During the Hot Spring Season, Beitou hot spring resorts will offer discount coupons, while hot spring resorts across the Asia-Pacific will promote various themes at their booths. There are also stalls spotlighting local snacks, charity drives, and other attractions!

Onsen “Water Spray” Parade:
A parade involving the children’s mikoshi, mascots, and many of the show performers will take place in the surrounding neighborhood during the weekend of the festival.

We invite you try on yukata (Japanese casual kimono) as you explore the neighborhood and enjoy the sight of garments designed by locals. There are also DIY classes on making your own paper fan.

Local Culture:
Professional local guides will bring visitors on a tour of the neighborhood, highlighting cultural and historical aspects of Beitou. There will also be a weekend shuttle bus to facilitate travel to major attractions in the area.

Stage Performance:
During the hot spring season, a series of performances will take place on the main stage of the venue. Performers include Japanese enka artist, bands, hula dance, Ming Hwa Yuan theatric troupe, nakasi contest, and shamans’ choir, as well as open air cinema!
