From its humble beginnings as a small shopping mall under the Guanghua Bridge in 1962, the Guanghua Digital Plaza will be celebrating its 42nd anniversary in 2015!

From September 5 through October 4, the shops at Guanghua Digital Plaza will be holding a series of activities to say “thank you” to both loyal friends and new customers alike.

The activities are as follows:

1. Back to School Discount Coupon Giveaway

To celebrate the start of the school semester and the anniversary of the digital plaza, shopping vouchers worth NT$6,000 will be given away on the day of the kick-off ceremony on September 5!

Individuals with uniform invoice (or receipts from stores qualified for uniform invoice waivers) issued by any stores on the second and/or third floor of the plaza this year showing accumulated purchases of NT$2,000 or more and have checked-in on Facebook with a photo of themselves at Guanghua Digital Plaza are eligible to queue up starting noon on September 5 for the coupon lottery. The voucher lottery event is only open to the first 142 individuals in the line. Prizes for the voucher lottery include vouchers with values of NT$100, 500, and 6,000!

2. Shopping Bonus Prize Draw: from Guanghuaniang Goods to 3C Products

Between September 5 and October 4, individuals making purchases at stores on the second and/or third floor of Guanghua Digital Plaza with accumulated purchases of NT$1,000 or more on a single day can take part in the prize draw by producing the uniform invoices (or receipts from stores qualified for uniform invoice waivers) at the information counter on the first floor. Guanghuaniang (the mascot character of the digital plaza) products include notebooks, cleaning cloth, mouse pad, and pouches. Other prizes include sticky notes, movie tickets, posters, mugs, and more!

3. Extra Prize Lottery for Shoppers

Furthermore, shoppers making purchases at stores on the second and/or third floor of Guanghua Digital Plaza between September 5 and October 4 with accumulated purchases of NT$2,000 or more on a single day can receive a prize lottery ticket by producing the uniform invoices (or receipts from stores qualified for uniform invoice waivers) at the information counter on the first floor. Each individual can exchange for up to a maximum of 20 lottery tickets each day. The lottery drawing will take place on October 4. Prizes include tablets, notebooks, and other 3C products totaling NT$260,000.

The kick-off ceremony for the 42nd anniversary celebration will take place at 2 PM on September 5. In addition to the voucher giveaway, there will also be drum rituals, dance performances, and other activities throughout the day. This is also a great chance for bargain hunters to find deals and discounts on 3C merchandise and computer products!
