Great news for floriculture enthusiasts! The annual Chrysanthemum showcase at the Shilin Residence will take place starting November 22!

Mayor Ko Wen-je kicked off the exhibition during the opening event at the facility’s outdoor music stage area. This year’s event promises to be a feast of great music performances with both visual and audio fun, demonstrated through displays of blooming flowers to reach your deepest emotions. Emphasizing Fun within the Chrysanthemum, the annual Shilin Residence Chrysanthemum Show will take visitors on a memorable trip comprising fun and music.

This year, the exhibition part of the Chrysanthemum Show includes both indoor and outdoor parts: The Romantic History of Love, The Home of Spider Chrysanthemum, Little Star Variation, Song of Swan, Do Not Feed a Gold Fish at the Bottom of a Cap, Jasmine Orange, Love Slowly, Grandpa’s Brewed Tea, Chrysanthemum Types Display Area, Flower Waltz, Love Messages through Chrysanthemum, and Party Animals.

According to the Parks and Street Lights Office (PSLO), the organizers will offer numerous discount coupons and deals usable at partner establishments and stores via the activity website in an effort to stimulate local economy. There are also raffles for visitors who shop at partner stores in the neighborhood, offering great prizes such as Yusense Hotel room voucher for two. Individuals checking in on Shilin Residence’s Facebook page will have chances to receive gifts such as restaurant discount coupons, nougat candies, and tea bags. Visitors who check-ins on site through Facebook will also receive gadgets such as cell phone plug-in fans and earphone cases. There will also be activities combining local features and international charms during the weekends of the show period.

On December 7, there will be a special concert organized by the Everlight Cultural Foundation featuring artists such as soprano Susie Chien, folk singer Tu Pei-tsen, baritone Hsu Te-cheng, Yushan Choir, and Vintage Jazz Band. How to Get There:
MRT: Disembark at MRT Shilin Station. Shilin Residence is a 7-minute walk from Exit 2 of the station.
Bus: Take public buses with stops at TaiPower Company Taipei Northern Regional Office, CKS Shilin Residence, or Xiaobei Street.
