In light of the upcoming 2015 Taipei Marathon on December 20, the Department of Information Technology (DOIT) will be offering the Real-time Marathon Result Finder for both participants and the public.

The Real-time Marathon Result Finder provides a wide variety of marathon-related services, including results query, free results SMS dispatch, real-time streaming of the marathon, and athlete position query. Users can access the Taipei Marathon Result Finder Website (http://marathon.taipei) through either their computer or mobile device for the convenient service.

To allow athletes to receive accurate score reports in the midst of the heated competition, marathon participants can apply for the services by accessing the website between December 3 and 17, 2015.

The SMS and other related services offered by the website are completely free. DOIT welcomes all participants to sign up and take advantage of these services. In addition, the website also offers real-time streaming and athlete position query. Friends and relatives of athletes can access the site by either their personal computer or smartphone (download of the iTAP application is required) to follow the event in real-time. Furthermore, the platform monitors at all MRT stations will also be broadcasting the marathon live, allowing passengers and spectators to watch the event and to enjoy the excitement of the competition.
