What is the fine for deliberately causing damage to a hydrant?

A person who deliberately damages or opens the roadside hydrant violates Article 34 of the Fire Services Act. The Article states that a person who damages or destroys any water storage devices, water supply devices, fire control equipment or rescue equipment, shall be subject to imprisonment or detention of up to 3 years and a fine of between 6,000 NTD and 30,000 NTD. The public is advised not to defy the law.
