Safety Guidelines for Preventing Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

一、Ensure proper ventilation when using gas-powered appliances (such as gas stoves, portable cassette stoves, water heaters, ovens, and boiler equipment) to effectively dispel carbon monoxide gas:

(一) Open doors and windows to maintain effective airflow.

(二) Install mechanical ventilation equipment.

(三) Install a range hood where gas stoves are used.

二、Gas water heaters must be installed in well-ventilated areas, or a forced-exhaust type water heater must be used instead.

三、Maintain adequate airflow when using gas cooking appliances (including portable cassette stoves) or charcoal fires indoors.

四、Do not leave vehicles idling for extended periods in poorly ventilated areas, such as basements or enclosed garages.
