Q: Mediation cannot be used for the following types of cases:

A:

  1. Annulment or revocation of marriage, application of adoption or divorce agreement.
  2. Violation against laws or regulations or violation against public order and social customs, such as prostitution or gambling.
  3. Provisional disposition, provisional seizure, announcement and interpellation, death declaration, and declaration of interdiction.
  4. Civil cases with entered pleas in the first trial court.
  5. Debtors claiming a higher interest rate than legal interest rate.
  6. Farmland leasing.
  7. Odd lots of land.
