What are the prerequisites for applying grants by hiring disabled workers and the preparation of relevant documentations?
1. For private institutions in Taipei City with total employment of 67 and over, with excessive hiring of disabled workers required by the quota, workers whose working location is in Taipei City, have been employed for six months and been given base wages, are eligible to apply for grants. The grants are obtainable starting from the seventh month of the employment period and are available up to total of thirty months of the employment period. The amount of grants is calculated by number of disabled workers multiply by NTD 7000 per month.
2. For private institutions (which is called non-compulsory unit) in Taipei City with total employees of more than 5 but less than 67, with every single disabled worker hired, whose working location is in Taipei City, have been employed for six months and been given base wages, are eligible to apply for grants. The grants are obtainable starting from the seventh month of the employment period and are available up to total of thirty months of the employment period. The amount of grants is calculated by number of disabled workers multiply by NTD 7000 per month.
3. The following documents shall be prepared: the application form, disabled workers’ payroll list, a copy of statement of labor insurance issued by Bureau of Labor Insurance, a copy of certificate or booklet proven being disabled, a copy of disabled workers’ statement of additional insurance joined, a copy of statement of profit-seeking business registration, a copy of attendance record, and a copy of payroll list containing all employees.
The following need not to resubmit if there is no changes being made:
A copy of certificate or booklet proven being disabled, a copy of statement of profit-seeking business registration and a copy of disabled workers’ statement of additional insurance joined.
