The emergency breakers are used to disconnect the traction power of a given section in the event of an emergency. Blue and white indicator lights are displayed on the box exteriors, and an emergency trip switch and emergency contact phone can be found in the box interiors. When the blue indicator light is on, it signifies that the conductor rail is energized. When the white indicator light is on, it signifies that the conductor rail is de-energized.
