1. Please check that your QR single-journey ticket is still valid. Expired or already-used tickets won't work. 

2. If the ticket can't be used due to poor storage (like getting dirty, wet, or damaged), it unfortunately can't be refunded, and you'll need to buy a new one. (According to Regulations for Use of the Taipei Metro System Article 19, passengers failing to comply with the operating regulations of the ticket gates must settle the fare for their trip due in full at the Information Counter.)
