How is the suspension of license plate due to violation records be handled?

  1. According to Article 63-1 of the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act, aside from the provisions of Paragraph 4 of Article 63-2, if a vehicle accumulates 3 violation records within 3 months, the license plate will be suspended for one month. If the vehicle's license plate is not surrendered by the specified time according to the judgment, the suspension period is increased to two months. If the owner still fails to surrender the license plate, the license plate will be revoked. 
  2. According to Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 63-2 of the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act, if the vehicle owner is a non-natural person (company) or a natural person without a driver's license and has not attributed the violation to another person, and if the violating driver should have recorded violation points or undergo a road traffic safety lessens, then a violation record is noted for the vehicle once. If the vehicle accumulates 3 violation records within a year, the license plate will be suspended for two months. If the vehicle's license plate is not is not surrendered by the specified time according to the judgment, the suspension period is increased to four months. If the owner still fails to surrender the license plate, the license plate will be revoked.
