1. For those who possess an R.O.C. (Taiwan) National ID:

Please utilize the Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service website or APP for online payment. Alternatively, you may authorize a proxy in Taiwan to handle the payment in person at our service counter by presenting the relevant supporting documents.

2. For those who do not possess an R.O.C. National ID:

Due to fluctuations in exchange rates and variations in international transaction fees across banking institutions, to ensure the accuracy of the actual payment amount, please first provide the "Vehicle License Plate Number" and "Traffic Ticket Number" via our designated email address (tao_ticket@gov.taipei). Upon calculating the final amount, we will provide the recipient of the penalty with the remittance information, the total payable amount, and other pertinent instructions to facilitate the completion of the payment process for overseas (foreign) individuals.
