Moderate Typhoon Haikui, the 11th typhoon of 2023, is continuously approaching Taiwan. The Central Weather Bureau has issued a sea warning at 20:30, September 1th, and the land warning is expected to be issued in the morning of September 2nd. Taiwan will be effected mostly from September 3rd to September 4th, and there will be lots more rainfall in the northern mountain area, Yangmingshan area, and Wenshan District of Taipei City. Due to the unpredictability of the typhoon, the Fire Department appeals that citizens should take precautions against the typhoon. Citizens should not go to the mountains and the coasts during the heavy rainfall and strong wind, to prevent any potential danger.
