To provide the public with a safer and better recreational place, the Parks and Street Lights Office, Public Works Department of Taipei City Government, began the renovation project of Hu Shih Park in 2013. The project has been fully completed. The old, uneven pavement of trails was improved and the stair system re-designed based on ergonomic principles, to increase the Park’s safety and allow hikers to have an easier walk. Trees were thinned and pruned to allow more sunlight to enter the Park, increasing its brightness. Do pay a visit to Hu Shih Park and experience the beautiful communication between culture and landscape.
