Taipei Flowers Auction Exhibition Mobile Platform – Introducing Flowers to Commuters
In promoting urban floral lifestyle in Taipei City, Taipei City Government has facilitated collaboration between Taipei Flowers Auction and the Department of Rapid Transit Systems to establish a flower exhibition mobile platform at the MRT Zhongshan Station in November. Every week, different types of flowers are utilized to create vibrant color themes such as yellow, red, and violet. The stunning flower exhibition often attracts the attention of travelers passing through the station, turning the location into a popular spot for taking photographs and checking in on social media.
According to Taipei Deputy Mayor Huang Shan-Shan, the city government is dedicated to flower promotion; besides creating flower exhibition spaces at the MRT station in collaboration with the Taipei Flowers Auction Co., Ltd. and TRTC, campaigns are also conducted in schools and communities in an effort to make floriculture an integral part of people’s lives and let blossoms and love flourish everywhere in Taipei City.
Taipei Flowers Auction Co., Ltd. pointed out that to allow more people to admire the beauty of Taiwanese flowers and introduce them into their lives, 2 more flower exhibition platforms will be established at MRT Ximen Station (near no. 4 exit) and MRT Taipei City Hall Station (near no. 3 exit) from December 4. The exhibits will incorporate poinsettia, symbolizing warmth, happiness, and vibrant colors. The theme will be changed weekly to surprise MRT commuters!
Additionally, Taipei Flowers Auction will also sell limited-edition floral products on a trial basis. The products mainly consist of exquisite bouquets that are easy and convenient to carry for the commuters onboard the MRT train. To be able to purchase and carry flowers effortlessly at MRT stations to bless and brighten other people’s day makes communing on the MRT a truly heartwarming experience.
Taipei City Market Administration Office commented that with the upcoming Christmas, new stations are decorated with poinsettia to create a Christmas theme and ambiance. December is also the last month of the year and a time to give thanks; therefore, the poinsettia – a symbol of blessing – makes the ideal Christmas gift. The exquisite bouquets consisting of colorful poinsettias not only present the citizens with a splendid Christmas but also convey the most heartfelt blessings to those around them.
