Business Hour Changes for Riverside Bike Rental Stations During CNY
According to the Taipei City Government’s Hydraulic Engineering Office (HEO), business hours for Taipei riverside bike rental stations will be adjusted slightly during Chinese New Year. The public is reminded that there is a total of 9 riverside bike rental stations in Taipei City, and they are open from Chinese New Year’s Eve through day 5 of Chinese New Year.
The HEO River Administration Section points out that 9 Taipei riverside bike rental stations will be open during the Chinese New Year including Dajia, Guandu, Meiti, Dadaocheng, Jingfu, Machangding, Muzha, Guanshan, and Rainbow Station. The business hours are 09:00-17:00 on January 24 (Chinese New Year’s Eve) and January 25 (Chinese New Year’s Day)—return the bike at 17:00 at the latest; regular holiday hours will resume from January 26 (day 2 of Chinese New Year) to January 29 (Day 5 of Chinese New Year).

Definition of “normal” business hours:
8 rental stations include Dajia, Machangding, Guanshan, Muzha, Meiti, Guandu, Dadaocheng, Jingfu Station will be open from 08:00-20:00 (the bike must be returned by 21:00 at the latest), while
Rainbow Station will be open from 08:00-17:00 (the bike must be returned by 18:00 at the latest).
