The plum rain season may leave everything feeling damp, but have you ever wondered where all that rainwater goes?

How does a major city like Taipei safely withstand one torrential downpour after another?

The Water Co-Learning Park (Xinsheng-Jianguo Pumping Station) and the Jinrui Flood Management Park, located in the upstream and downstream sections of the city's drainage system, each play a unique role in protecting Taipei from flooding.

Through thoughtfully designed interactive activities and guided tours, these programs offer an engaging way to learn about urban water management. Whether you're a teacher planning an educational field trip or an organization looking for an in-depth group experience, these two sites will change the way you think about water infrastructure.

Program duration: Approximately 2–3 hours (ideal for a half-day trip, including travel time)

Group size: School classes or community groups of approximately 15–20 participants

Admission: Free of charge, organized by the Hydraulic Engineering Office, Public Works Department, Taipei City Government
