What items are included in the periodic health examination for Category II foreign workers and foreign technical personnel?

The examination shall include the following:

Chest X-ray for pulmonary tuberculosis.
Hansen’s disease examination.
Serologic test for syphilis (may be exempted for periodic health examinations).
Stool examination for intestinal parasites.

Physical examination.
Pursuant to Article 7, Paragraph 5 of the Regulations Governing Management of Health Examinations for Employed Foreigners, foreign technical personnel from designated countries or regions may be exempted from Hansen’s disease and stool examinations.
