With joy in their hearts, The Happy Angel Cheerleading Squad of the Yang Ming Home for the Disabled took a shuttle bus to Taipei Gymnasium to participate the Leaping A Hundred Years—Anti-Bullying Cheerleading Championship on Saturday morning. Although the Championship was not specially held for the disabled, the Squad’s cheerleaders gave it their all. Sun Lizhu, Superintendent of the Yang Ming Home for the Disabled, also came to cheer on the squad and led the cheerleaders in receiving a commemorative trophy from the organizer.
After their performance, the Squad’s cheerleaders watched intently as the other squads performed. Those members were thrilled by the beautiful cheerleaders with their magnificent costumes and resplendent dance moves, and hoped that one day they may also have the chance to shine just like them.
