What’s the difference between “Taipei Card” and “Second Generation Wellness Card” issued by Department of Health?

The Department of Health issued the “Second Generation Wellness Card” on April 30, 2013. The main purpose of this card is to encourage citizens to take part in the Preventive Health Care Service, participate in health promotion events, and raise citizens’ awareness of health management.
“Taipei Card” has integrated many card services (including “Second Generation Wellness Card” service), as well as reward points and beneficial services. A new visual has been designed for the card to differentiate it from last generation cards.
