There is no requirement for applying for the “Taipei Card” (with the exception of selected social welfare card services).

Department of Public Transportation	Charity EasyCard (1)	Individuals who reside in Taipei City for more than 1 year, possessing Disability Card issued by Department of Social Welfare.	Free bus ride up to 60 times per month (does not apply to rapid transit). 50% off on rides thereafter.
	Charity EasyCard (2)	Individuals who reside in Taipei City for less than 1 year, possessing Disability Card.	50% off on rides.
	Companion EasyCard	Individuals who accompany those who possess either Charity EasyCard (1) or Charity EasyCard (2).	50% off on rides if the card is used right after Charity EasyCard. Full fare otherwise.
Department of Health	The Second Generation Wellness Card	Individuals categorized under mid-low, low income, indigenous people, new immigrant and children under age of 6.	Offer monetary compensation for EasyCard points in order to promote health and to encourage citizens to participate in screenings. Citizens will have access to their screening data and will be able to conduct self-management.
Department of Education	e-Student Pass	Students of public university, high school, middle school and elementary school. Private institution may choose to adopt this program as well.	Student discount on public transit. Notification service for parents when their children arrive at/leave school.
